Musician's Friend USA Specs?

Post by Montyn »

I was looking at the specs on Musician's Friend and had a question. The USA G&L ASAT Classic Butterscotch Blonde and the G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy Electric Guitar Clear Orange specs says "G&L C-shaped neck with 12" radius and 1 5/8" nut-width" but when I look at the specs of new G&L ASAT on the forum it says new guitars are Modern Classic 9.5 radius. Does anyone know what is correct? Thanks for your help.

The specs on the G&L website are the standard specifications, ie. what you would get if you did not order one of the optional neck profiles and optional neck radius.
The description of the neck would indicate that the necks are the optional "Classic C" profile with the optional 12" fretboard radius. See: February 1, 2017-present G&L U.S. Specifications and Options
You will get a G&L Build Specifications sheet for the actual guitar your are shipped and it will be in the black G&L envelop in the guitar case.
You might call up MF and ask them to check the Build Specifications sheet for either of these US G&L guitars to confirm that their listing on the website is accurate.

Hope this helps.
