I have been on the old G&LDP board off-and-on for a few years. I once had an ASAT semihollow guitar that I sold, now I have this L-1000 that was sold to me as a "1985".



I changed strings on it yesterday and pulled the neck to tweak the tilt adjustment, finding these dates:





So instead of a "1985" this bass is actually from 1984.

I am more frequently on Talkbass, but I thought I would put this bass in the registry once I have all the details down pat.
