G&L Asat Special Truss Rod Nut Stuck.....

Good Evening,
Just wondering if anyone has run into the issue of the truss rod not being stuck... I seem to have to use a 3mm Allen Key but I can't get it to turn clockwise or counter clockwise.... How much force can be put on the nut? Am I ok to use a corrosion inhibitor or lube? I've only ever owned cheap guitars so when i've come across this on them i would just spray it and crank it... I love this guitar to much to just do that... lol..

Please disregard that post as I am just a crazy back bush canuck from Northern Ontario....
3mm is 1/8... and I was basing turning the nut clock wise on the set up of my last guitar (Godin) that had double adjustment.
Lets just put it this way.... I seems I have a nut that isn't moving... Could possibly be because it's never been adjusted before and I bought it used...
