Pickguard questions
I have a 2010 bluesboy - Toying with notion of doing away with the neck humbucker and doing a standard tele style pickup. Are the pickguards interchangeable if I buy an asat classic pickguard?

Is your 2010 Bluesboy USA made or the Tribute Series version?bonecrusher wrote:I have a 2010 bluesboy - Toying with notion of doing away with the neck humbucker and doing a standard tele style pickup. Are the pickguards interchangeable if I buy an asat classic pickguard?

I see that it is already modded with a new bridge and bridge pickup.bonecrusher wrote:Its a USA.Craig wrote:Is your 2010 Bluesboy USA made or the Tribute Series version?bonecrusher wrote:I have a 2010 bluesboy - Toying with notion of doing away with the neck humbucker and doing a standard tele style pickup. Regarding the pickguard: You should be able to interchange the current pickguard with either an ASAT Classic Alnico or ASAT Classic pickguard.
Hope this helps.

Re: Pickguard questions
Awesome - Thanks!
Its a glendale bridge and saddles - It was on the guitar when I bought it. I purchased an ASAT bridge so I can play around a bit - Not sure if there is any improvement either way just like to play.
I already pulled these pickups out of the guitar - They were Lindy fralins. I am still on the fence about the pickups - Thining of bringing either the seth lover back in the neck - or may be trying a single coil...
