Looks like a quilted top blackburst finish to me. Here is an ASAT Special Deluxe blackburst flame top for reference.

It is a very subtle Blackburst being tested on a quilt top. This guitar is in the hands of L.A. session player Ash Jangda and we have posted some pics of him with it on our Instagram in case anyone wants to see more of it.
