deluxe models real maple cap or veneer?

Post by invader1993 »

I was reading up on the G&l world I have have seen it written that on the deluxe models both legacy and invader that the maple top is a veneer and have seen it i was a true maple cap. So I was wondering what the true story is? If it is a real maple cap, how thick is the cap?
If a veneer how thin? Is it like the paper thin veneers?

The USA Deluxe models or those with the Maple Top option, they have a real maple cap (at least 1/4" thick).
