I have 2 mid-90s ASAT Specials - one's a deluxe. I've noticed that the tone pots on both of them are *very* subtle. They don't provide nearly the level of treble cut that most tone controls do.
I've checked the wiring and everything is connected. As I bought both guitars used, I don't know if they've been modded, so I'm wondering if this is normal for these guitars.
TIA,
Mike

Re: ASAT Special tone pot question
Wow, 68 views! Are all the ASAT Special owners on vacation? My guitar tech cleaned the pot and it's much better now.
