Savannah Collection

Post by oldhatt »

Hi folks,
I'm wondering if any of you may have a tone report for the Savannah Bluesboy, or any of the collection actually. I've been looking at semi-hollows and a couple of these popped up. I'm wondering if these may be a bit mellower than I want ??
Let me know what you think of yours.

Thanks, very much
Mike

Edit: I could've sworn I was in 92 to present. Sorry, wrong place ....

Hi Mike

I only have a Savannah Bluesboy 90, so th neck pup is different. From its page on my website:
"Acoustically, the guitar sounds very resonant. When plugged in, the neck pickup has warmth and bark at the same time; the neck pickup has the well-know characteristics of any ASAT Classic neck pup and together they sound great. But I do notice a slight difference in volume between the 2 that you have to work around a little. Just like for the Korina Collection ASAT Junior II, the tone-stack on the amp needs to change just a bit for optimal results."

Hope this helps,

- Jos
