Help on ASAT Bluesboy year made...

Post by davecan »

Hi. Wondering if anyone can help me figure out the date of manufacture for this guitar - I bought it used on eBay about 2 years ago.

It is a semi-hollow bluesboy, no F-hole. I searched the database here and didn't see the number. I also took the neck off but, as you can see, the date is not clear.

THANKS!

My guess would be it was build in 2008 or 2009. See: How do I determine an instrument's age?.

You might contact G&L Tech Support, Monday-Friday, and ask them if they can look up the serial number. Their contact info is located on the G&L Main website: Support page.

Hope this helps.

For anyone interested, here is the reply from G&L.

"Hello,
Semi-hollow with no F hole logged in the computer 05/20/09. This is all the information I can provide. Thanks for playing G&L.
Thanks,"

I appreciate their quick reply - excellent customer service.

Note too that I'll be putting this guitar up on Reverb in a few days, but only because I have my eyes on a new ASAT Special.
