New Purchase S500?

Post by buscha »

Purchased what was advertised by Sam Ash-Hollywood as a late 80's S500. It has no serial number that I can find on the neckplate, headstock front or back or on the trem. The body is dark blue/green and the back of the neck and headstock is blue as well, but not the same color as the body-it's a lighter shade. It has a tribute trem in in it and is missing the backplate. the pickups are G & L and the polepieces are hollow and rounded. Any ideas on identification???
