Concerning the G&L Broadcasters here’s the breakdown.
Broadcaster / ebony fingerboard / NV / black
Broadcaster / maple fingerboard / NV / black
Broadcaster / ebony fingerboard / with Kahler / black
Broadcaster / maple fingerboard / with Kahler / black
Broadcaster / ebony fingerboard / with Kahler / #1 neck / no string lock / black
Broadcaster / maple fingerboard / with Kahler / #3 neck / black
Broadcaster / ebony fingerboard / NV / left hand / black
Broadcaster / maple fingerboard / NV / left hand / black
Broadcaster / ebony fingerboard / NV / purple
Broadcaster / unverified / blue
It’s commonly accepted that there were 869 G&L Broadcasters produced. However, as with most special purpose built guitars e.g. the purple and blue Broadcasters it was common place to build three of each. If such is the case this would bring the total to 874. The exact number of each type of Broadcaster produced may be published at a later date after all research has been exhausted.
It’s with great appreciation to the late Mr. Dale Hyatt and Mr. Gabe Dellevigne that this information has been accumulated.
Best Regards
Larry
