Hey fellas
We are most likely going to get married in Canada next year and we would be flying direct from Australia to Vancouver . I'm wondering whether it would be worth a trip to guitar shops in Seattle to buy a nice acoustic .
I would love another Santa Cruz
Or I could easily buy another 80's G&L
Would it be worth the trip over the border ?
Thanks
Anthony

Re: Seattle guitar shop
Would say it is worth the trip especially when it includes Dusty Strings in the Fremont neighborhood, just north of the Fremont bridge. There is also Emerald City Guitar in the Pioneer Square neighborhood, Seattle Guitar Shop on Aurora (Hwy 99) at the north end of town, and Guitar Center just south of Lake Union.
One fair warning though: sales tax is 9.5% in Seattle and NOT included in the sticker price.

There's also Thunderroad guitars (west seattle), never been there but I've seen some nice inventory online.

I know this is an old thread, but in case anyone searches -
Bellevue American Music in Bellevue, WA (just east of Seattle) and Tommy's Guitar Shop in Everett (just north) are G&L dealers. Both have good stuff in stock at the time of this posting!
