converting older ASAT flushmount jack to metal plate style

Post by fullertonbluesboy »

Hey all. I have an ASAT Classic with the threaded barrel jack, and it's time to replace it. I know the procecure, thanks to the Jack replacement PDF provided here.

But, my 2015 bluesboy has a more standard metal plate setup. I would love to mod my older Classic with that setup. Anybody know if the plate is an off the shelf model or if I have to get a plate from G&L. Can't help but notice the G&L webpage says get parts from authorized dealers and I will try that, but there isn't one particularly close to me, and would rather internet it.

Thanks in advance

off shelf item ..... Converted my 2013 SC2 from barrel to plate , G&L uses the "football" style if you want it like stock

Thanks a ton! I didn't know if there was a specific "radius" of the metal piece I needed to worry. I'll go with the football shape one like on my bluesboy!
