S500 nut

Post by daveed »

I would like to get a replacement nut for my S500. I know that it is 1 5/8 inch long and 1/8 thick with a 12 inch radius. Here's the question
are these nuts curved on the bottom. I think they are, just want to confirm that. Also, what would be a "most excellent replacement" for this guitar.

It depends upon which year it was built, see this post in our G&L Knowledgebase: Are G&L nuts curved or flat on the bottom?.

Hope this helps.

After reading that, then it will be a flat bottom. Once I pull it out, I'll confirm that and pass on the info.
