Hi all,
I've been a member here for quite a while now, but have never really been all that active, or posted an introduction.
My name's Colin, I'm from the Vancouver, BC area. This probably should go without saying, but one of my main interests is guitars and music. I've been a G&L fan for many years now, I've owned a couple of Asat Classics, both of which I've sold for stupid reasons. I really miss the blonde Asat that I bought new about five years ago, I wish I'd held on to it.
Currently I have an SC-3 and an '82 SC-2, although I'm having thoughts on selling both of those too. I really want to buy a classic car, and in order to appease the wife I need to make a couple of sacrifices.
A belated hello

A classic car and a happy girl sounds like fun to me
I'd love an old SC-2 (and I'm just across the border!), you
could tempt us with porn in the meantime.
What kind of car are you dreaming about?

Re: A belated hello
I'm not planning on anything too crazy for a car. I'm going to look at a '74 MG Midget this weekend, which hopefully I'll end up buying. Something small, fun and either British or Japanese most likely. I'd love to get my hands on an old Lotus, but I don't have the budget for that.
Here's the SC-2,
The SC-3 has been on long term loan to a buddy for a while now, so I don't have many photos of it. But here's one of it with my Nelson Attache (my favourite guitar I've ever owned)

Love the "German carve" on your Attache -- it's a shame Bobby dropped that model from his offerings!

Couch Straps
Fantastic choice, Greetings from the island
I recently picked up a couch strap for my ASAT
makes for a winning combination.
Be a shame to see those SC's go, looks like they have been well loved and taken care of in your hands.
