Third party steel saddles

Post by trem »

Hello,

Any steel saddles out there (e.g., one of Callaham's) that can fit a current DF bridge without modification, or the specs on the saddles and screws on the DF bridge?

Thanks!

Got them, pretty nice saddles for the price. They fit pretty well, but seem like they're .00001'' more narrow than the stock saddles, so there can be a small space between them, while the stock saddles fit together against each other nicely. I've only tried them with my US S-500 so far, with the stock brass on the E B and G strings. Difference is there, but rather small. I like it. Haven't gotten the legacy strung up yet, so no report on how they compare to the chrome plated zinc.

I'll try to get pics up later.
