Nice. I once had an opportunity to buy a custom butterscotch mahogany ASAT Special with a mahogany neck. It was gorgeous. I should have bought it. :eh: I realize now what a rarity it was. I shied from it because I'd seen so many mahogany necks broken at the headstock/fretboard transition. Granted, they were mostly of the Gibson and Epiphone persuasion. Hopefully, the G&L's hold up better. I bought my red '88 ASAT III instead. Not a terrible choice.
