Just added a second G&L to my collection, a 2005 G&L ASAT Classic-S. Going off the body date, it seems this is one of the one-offs they made in 2005 (body says June 03 2005). I've only played it about an hour so far, but it seems to be a fantastic complement to my Legacy: the MFD pickups are more modern than the Alnico neck, and obviously different from the Power Blade bridge and Single Blade middle pickups, but they're not so modern that I can't roll it back and get some great vintage tones. Check it out:

Very nice!
Great figuring in that body. Bet she sounds like a million bucks.

Killer guitar! Whenever I hear ASAT S, I check to see how much $$ I have in my GAS slush fund.

I love your pearl pickguard and the white pickup covers. Congrats.

Just one more ASAT S, please!
