Here's my two G&L gee-tars.
2002 S-500. Ash, Blueburst Finish.
And my 1981 F-100.
I also have a 1999 L-2000, but no pics of it here at work. I'll post it later.

Yep, it's in great shape. I did the "G200 wiring mod", which greatly improved the sound. The back of the headstock was signed by George Fullerton, so it's definately became more special since his passing. Plays really great. I love the necks on those old G&L's

Yeah, let me find it. You basically replicate the wiring of the G200. You replace one of the pots with a concentric pot so you have 2V,2T. It's doesn't sound 100% like a G200 of course, but gets you in the ballpark. One day I'd like to get the pickups rewound in mine so they are closer to those tone machines that are in an actual G200.ieso wrote:nice guitars. have a link to the G200 mod?
I'll find the schematics, I have them on my home computer.

Cool. I have a 25thA with those pups -- maybe I could mod it like that. I like the sound just fine but it might be nice to get some extra range with it.

I just posted this in the Knowledgebase Forum: Parts to convert F-100 to G-200 wiring.ieso wrote:nice guitars. have a link to the G200 mod?
Hope this helps.
