My new tribute

Post by vaughn44 »

Here's my new left handed tribute. I got it for 431.00 and I am very impressed .It has super low action and no fret buzz. And it is light weight.
Now I have two G&l guitars :happy0065: Image[/url

Nice! The ASAT Tribute is a fantastic guitar indeed! If I could make a recommendation, I would suggest replacing the tortoise pickguard for a black one. I had a custom one made & it came out excellent:

I think it looks tons better with the black. I had it made from Chandler at pickguardheaven.com. They should already have the template, so it should cost you a reasonable amount if you were to get it from them.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. The black pickguard does look nice. I already ordered some dimarzio pickups for it.

Personally I think it is a mistake to replace the pickups. Those are the same pickups that come in the American models and they sound great.

The pickups do sound good but I don't like the added noise they produce.
