G&L binding options

Post by TobyJones »

Hello G&L forum!

What a great site for the G&L enthusiast.

So I've been playing G&Ls for over 10 years and have several instruments. My latest interest is in a ASAT with double binding.

From my searching, it looks like G&L will do a white double binding. Will they do any other colors such as cream or black?

If so, I'd love to see some pics, especially of cream.

Thanks!

According the options page, binding only comes in white. But they do offer faux-wood binding, ie. where they have taped of the edges and the body wood is maintained. Looks really cool and has a kind of creme appearance to it too.

There is one current signature model, the ASAT Bass Tom Hamilton Signature model which has a custom Silver Metal Flake faux double-binding.
See: ASAT® Bass Tom Hamilton Signature Model.
