If you have been waiting, or didn't have the cash when they were first ordered, now is LAST Call. Only two numbers remain.
Call Bob from Music Source. or visit LE-2 Order Page
Please Note: Instead of the Roasted Maple Neck, you will have the option of a Q-sawn Neck and a Pau Ferro fret board. If you want Rosewood, great you can have that as well.

Why isn't the roasted maple neck an option anymore?

@cho
As I understand, from reading a few posts on this forum, they were having issues with brittleness on this particular batch of roasted maple. If memory serves, they went through several blanks (possibly six?), before they were able to complete a neck that met their standards for the last they attempted.
I'm sure someone will post a link to the threads addressing it.
I was a little bummed, I hadn't run into the thread specifying this was the case, until after I placed my order. I like the idea of a baked maple neck being extra impervious to humidity conditions. But a quartersawn neck is every bit as stable.
I also didn't realize the Pau Ferro fretboard was an option!
I placed my order in December, and called on Wednesday to update my shipping address, and inquire about the status of the order. When I get the call back, assuming its not completed yet, I'm going to ask if I can pay to upgrade it to the Pau Ferro! It would be much more flattering with the Tobacco Sunburst Finish, and 3 ply creme pickguard.
I imagine it will be much too late to make an alteration...but couldn't hurt to ask. Now I'm crossing my fingers they've been so busy with the SS and RT line up, they haven't started my neck yet!

Thanks! Looks like I am behind the times on the LE-2 details.
Does anyone know if it is possible to get the LE-2 without a pickguard, like the SC-2?

The LE-2 is top loaded, so it requires a pickguard.
