G&L SC-2, Change the neck?

Hi, im Diego from Chile, first of all sorry for my so-so english, i do my best ; )

well, today i went to my local shop that works G&L to try the SC-2, basically because i am fan of "student models guitars" like Mustang, Duo-Sonic,etc.

I really love the look of SC-2, and how it sounds BUT the neck its just a baseball bat, and full scale, very strange for a "student model guitar".

And for my surprise, you cannot choose another neck profile for the SC-2, why?!.
Ok i can pass that the guitar is 25 1/2" scale instead of 24" , like a strat, but in these case i would like to a V profile thin neck.

So, in sum, i want to know if i can change the neck of the SC-2 for a strat neck or even better a mustang neck? (change the G&L neck for another like Fender, all part, etc etc)

Is your local shop a G&L dealer? If so, they must be referencing an older price list. The SC-2 currently has all the neck options
available on the US Price List (August 1, 2014). See: 2014 G&L U.S. Specifications and Options in our G&L Knowledgebase.

Yes my local shop is a G&L dealer, we view the G&L web (http://www.glguitars.com/instruments/US ... guitar.asp) and says "SC-2, Fallout and F-100 have no neck profile options available at this time.", so the web are outdated.

Well i am very happy that SC-2 has all the neck options, soon i will put my order , thanks a lot!
