um comanche

Post by john o »

Here's a nice video clip of Jake Cinninger playing his new comanche at a recent UM gig, from G&L's facebook page, check it out:

the tune is called "Bridgeless."

Some good face time on that Comanche. That should get a few people interested in them!

Love Umphreys McGee and Cinninger needs more recognition IMHO. He's been playing G&L for a long time and I think players definately associate him with "our" guitars. I still want to get one of those "Jake Blades" to use instead of the trem bar on one of mine. Thanks for sharing.

i'm very interested in these guitars. now that i have the amp situation in good shape, i will be scheming on a usa comanche. its gotta be the right one. i'll know it when i see it.
i like the blade too. my wife got me one 2 yrs ago for xmas. unfortunately i didn't own a g&l at that point, and it was for a prs anyway! they are currently unavailable. jakes was for an older s500 so the hardware has a little different fit.
i saw this comanche on fb as well, and salivated heavily, also for JC:
