Are USA Legacy and ASAT necks interchangeable?

Post by Encinitastubes »

I've got a nice, light-weight ASAT Classic with a neck that is to slender to play very long anymore. I really like the new #1 necks that fatten up considerably at the 12th fret. I'm looking to buy a used G&L as cheap as possible with a #1 neck that I could swap. I intend to keep both guitars, not reselling or doing anything unethical. Are the necks on the different models, such as a Legacy and ASAT, interchangeable?
