There's a shop that already works with G&L and makes some interesting microtonal necks/fretboards, so that's pretty convenient.
I've never played a G&L that was not really great, so it seems like an obvious choice.
I'm still researching stuff about fret placement. I've got the math together, but I'm still missing a few variables -- particularly the linear density of a standard set of EB Power Slinkys.
I'm not looking to add any new notes to the scale, but I am very interested in pure, perfect 5ths -- which do not exist in equal temperament. I am looking to put a neck together so I can play in the temperament discussed here: http://www.roelhollander.eu/en/432-tuni ... of-fifths/
The difference from 12-TET is very subtle, but in my opinion, also very sublime.
Does anyone around here have any experience with what I'm talking about?
