Yes I said I would do it - and finally did! I have a ASAT Classic Rustic I DEARLY love, but was kinda in a love/hate relationship with the bridge pickup. So I received a Vineham Classic T Bridge pickup a little while ago and decided it was time to swap the MFD pickup out for this one.

The results are nothing less than stellar. My ASAT came alive with more twang, more snap, crisper and clearer!

So happy with the results - oh and as a side note if you are looking for high end pickups and very very good prices check out Vinehams I have them in 2 teles and a strat! Best pickups around! (I am a customer and have nothing to so with the company!) :)

Unthinkable!? No way, I changed the pickups in my ASAT Classics as have many, many others. The bridge MFD isn't the twangiest pickup out there, and if thats what your after you're better off changing it. I think people wanting more twang is probably why G&L yielded and released the ASAT Classic Alnico.
