ASAT Classic Charlie Christian Ltd

Post by blargfromouterspace »

I came across THESE yesterday. I'm liking the fact that a store is able to have its own specific model as we've seen with the ASAT Cat and L-1000, but its going to be very hard to keep track of!

But they are beautiful aren't they! And what a combination of pups. I can imagine what they sound like each b themselves but am curious what they sound like together. Guess we'll know soon enough.

Check the Production List of G&L Instruments (USA) and for ASAT models, check the List of Special Edition & Non-Production ASAT-style guitars. I try and add the built for dealer instruments
when I find out about them to those lists in the G&L Knowledgebase. I don't have the ASATcat added yet because I am still trying to get all the details since there were multiple runs on them.
For the info I currently have on the ASATcat, see this post: New ASAT Cats?.

The easiest way to do this is to use View active topics and View new posts links. You can find those links on the forum pages or use the GbL Forum Lite button.

Hope this helps.

Jos , Mike talks about the combo in the Market place , he said they balance real good with the MFD , not so good with Alnico

I haven't played this particular model of G&L, but I have played a custom "T" syle guitar with the Charlie Christian pickup in the neck position. It's a great combination.
