Hello, My name is Ritchie. I have been playing guitar for about 16 years. I found out about G&L from a good friend of mine who is a bass player. He custom ordered a bass guitar from G&L. This was no ordinary bass guitar. You see, my friend is left handed, yet he had always played right handed bass guitars in left hand orientation! In other words the guitar was upside down along with the strings. Enter, G&L custom shop. What G&L built for my friend was a left handed bass with the strings in reverse orientation ( think Jimi Hendrix with a bas ). I got a kick out of that. I really was impressed with the craftsman ship of his bass and I absolutely loved the saddle lock bridge. I thought, wow I would trade my Jackson soloist (with the annoying floyd) for a Stratocaster with a G&L saddle lock bridge. Fast forward 6-7 years to March, 28th 2014, I ordered myself a Legacy HB with the saddle lock bridge.
Other than being a musician, I am currently finishing a degree in computer science. I love writing code about as much as I love playing guitar (no kidding).

I love the Saddle locks too !! unfortunatetly it took about 9 G&L's before I discovered I loved them more than the DF .... the next few G&L's I get are going to be saddleloc for sure .... that HB will be sweet with a saddlelock

Yes, I'm fully with you here. Coding is definitely as creative and inspiring as playing guitar.cardofgiant wrote:Other than being a musician, I am currently finishing a degree in computer science. I love writing code about as much as I love playing guitar (no kidding).
Looking forward to see pics of your hardtail Legacy HB. Excellent choice, you won't regret it. A whole new world of Strat sounds....
