Hi to all,
Since getting my S-500 Tribute in March, its very quickly become my favorite guitar. In the past 3 months, I have come to like the ergonomics of an S-type guitar, much much more than the Epi Les Paul.
All this to say that I have decided to sell the LP and purchase a Legacy.
From what I've seen on the G&L site, a Legacy HB Tribute is offered. I do very much like the pick ups on my LP. Have some of you installed a PAF-type humbucker in your standard Legacy? If so, what has been your experience?
Also, I probably should not be asking and don't really expect an answer but I'll give it a go anyways, are the plans for new G&L Legacy models this year (like one with the wide pickups like the ASAT Special)
Thanks for your input!
Cheers!

Re: Tribute Legacy Information
The first question I'd ask, is: "how is the tone and voicing of the humbucker that comes stock on the trib Legacy HB?"
An S style gtr with a humbucker will certainly not sound like a les paul, but if the G&L HB is well voiced, no need to carve up the pickguard to the trib leg (unless you want 2 HB's).
