Tension Screw not available online...Help

Post by seedbeeshop »

I bought a used 2010 S500 Tribute and it came with no Vibrato Arm. I just got the replacement from the G&L Online Store. Now I realize I need the Tension Screws (metric set), but the G&L online Store does not have any in stock. It is almost 2 hours drive to the nearest G&L dealer. In reading, I also read about nylon bushings??? What's up with that?

Seeking help on how to best proceed. Thanks in advance.

Contact webstore@bbesound.com to find out when they will again be available. You might also contact the G&L dealer and see if they have any in stock, perhaps they
could take a phone order and send it to you directly.

The nylon bushing goes into the screw hole first and then the allen screw next. The bushing is used to compress against the Vibrato bar to hold it in place.
If you don't use the bushing you will score (scratch and groove) the Vibrato bar which will make it difficult to remove the bar for the socket.

Hope this helps.
