G&L Custom Bridge?

Post by vinylfantasy »

So I bought this bridge off ebay to replace my SC-3's tremolo socket...not only is the socket not threaded, but it also lacks a tension adjustment bore and screw. To top it off, the bridge says, "G&L Custom" on it. It also looks like it was never even installed on an instrument. If it was intended for a guitar, which G&L would it be? I recall seeing a similar post about a non-threaded tremolo socket bridge here but nothing like this "G&L Custom". Maybe from a super high end G&L in the early 80's? Protoype?
