I've found another G&L oddity. This time it's an early BBE era guitar. It's a '93 Legacy with the serial number on the bridge instead of the neck plate. G&L ran out of serial numbered neck plates for a short time in 1993. They built a few guitars with leftover early 80's serial numbered tremolos and non serial numbered black crinkle neck plates. This one is nice shape for a 21 year old guitar. I'm not sure what to do with this guitar. I'm not a fan of Legacy/Stratocaster guitars. The collector side of me wants to keep it. The player side of me says sell it. :confused0007:

Nice score Sprinter! I saw that as well I believe, but just not a Legacy fan. The collector in us all sometimes takes control.

Steve - does it have set-screw control knobs or push-on knobs? Does it have the copper middle vibrato spring?

The knobs are push on style. The center tremolo spring is not copper.
