Reminds Me Of The Fallout/SC

Post by darwinohm »

Just came across this on another forum. It looks nice but the price is up there. Makes the Fallout look like a bargain to me. -- Darwin

Hmmm, an '82 SC-2 copy with foil tops and a Bigsby. Even the headstock is an early SC copy. Did you notice the Strat-type in the bottom picture, with a Skyhawk body (including plastic PG and separate metal control plate) and Leo-era SC headstock?

Yes I did. These resemble Leo built guitars in my opinion.-- Darwin

ummm...no question where that DNA sprouted from.
Not to mention the 'new' hand-rubbed super smooth finish (they just need more silver and that would pretty much nail a NENA Blacck Ice finish).
They look like nice guitars built with care.

Have you guys looked into Echopark instruments? A former G&L employees endeavor.

Thanks for the interesting stuff Darwin,
I'm sure some my homebrew instruments will have heavy G&L influences in the design also.
