2015 ASAT Classic Bluesboy Special

Post by john o »

This one was hanging out on Reverb for 7 months, for an unusually low price.
I wasn't looking for one, but...I'm a bargain shopper. Underbid and scored.
Nearly perfect condition. Looks essentially unplayed.
Black limba top, on swamp ash with clear gloss finish. Light weight!
Contoured body, rear mount controls.
Modern classic neck with satin finish, smooth, rosewood board, 9.5 radius, medium jumbo frets.
Full range of tones from bright and crisp to blues, to mellow and jazzy.
Duncan Seth Lover pu at the neck.
Reminds me more than a little of a Tele custom I had in the '70's.
I posted pix in the gallery. Pix don't really capture its beauty. Can't believe how nice it is and plays...

John, that is one sweet Bluesboy. Love the wood and the no pickguard option. Let that wood shine! :luv:

Thanks Les, Dan, Darwin and Jag, how sweet it is.
They are still making some pretty magical guitars in Fullerton these days!
