George Fullerton Legacy question

Post by glvourot »

Do the George Fullerton Legacy's all have his signature on the lower bout as well as on the head stock ? Were some of them made as hardtails ? This guitar has been on craigslist for close to a year . Two of the pick ups have been changed . No pictures of the serial number . Maybe a swapped neck ?

Yes, the GF Signature model has signature decals on both the upper bout of body and on the headstock.
Yes, there were some made with the optional Saddle-Lock bridge. Search the G&L Registry for a listing of some of them.
The serial number will begin with "GF".

I looked at the ad post and would agree with you that it is a standard hardtail Legacy with a GF Signature neck.
The neck should have vintage size frets and neck profile should be one of the V profiles.
The body color looks to be a standard finish-Lake Placid Blue and probably built in 1997 or later because it has a four-bolt neck.
Ask seller for serial number on neck and then ask G&L Customer Service to get the build details.

Hope this helps.
