Hey guys. I have a Fallout with the DF vibrato. It seems as though it's going either all sharp or all flat after using the bar. It's not returning to the correct pitch. As far as I can tell, the guitar seems to be set up properly. Anyone else have this issue? Is there an easy fix?
Thanks!

If that does not fix it, what changes have you recently done to it? Post some photos showing DFV, under trem cover, at nut.

Thanks for that info, Craig. Honestly, I haven't played it in a few months but the last time I did it was fine. Played it for an hour or so last night and it wouldn't stay in tune.

Lubing the nut and/or string tree can go a long way towards solving this sort of problem.

If there was a "Like" button, I would have just hit that, but lacking the former, I'm going to just have to quote you and say that I liked that comment in the sense that it was solid, timely advice.cbm wrote:Lubing the nut and/or string tree can go a long way towards solving this sort of problem.

Thanks for the advice, guys. It was the DFV. It just had to be adjusted a bit. I used the info Craig posted. Stays in tune fine now.cbm wrote:Lubing the nut and/or string tree can go a long way towards solving this sort of problem.
