Hey guys I just picked up a Bluesboy Tribute and am beginning my mods. I got one of the ones with the import bridge and neck pickups so I am upgrading both as well as the entire control plate and electronics. I am going to us an MFD and Seth Lover just as the US models do. When trying to find a diagram for the MFD I found that I will need to reverse the polarity by moving the ground plate wire from the red side to the yellow side. No biggie, but how does the effect the wiring otherwise? Does red still go to the switch and yellow to ground? Please help. Thanks guys.

Actually probably the easiest thing would be if anyone has a Bluesboy diagram that would be awesome. Doesn't seem to be one on the G&L site.

This picture diagram from our Gallery in the Album: Instrument Manuals and Wiring Schematics should be all you need:Yellowv wrote:Actually probably the easiest thing would be if anyone has a Bluesboy diagram that would be awesome. Doesn't seem to be one on the G&L site.
Reference: Album: ASAT Classic Bluesboy Picture Diagrams.
Hope this helps.

Re: Bluesboy Tribute pickup swap ?
Thanks Craig. So seems pretty straightforward. Really just the hot of each pickup to the switch and the ground to the tone pot. Any idea on the CMR switch if I should be out the very outside lugs of the switch or the second in from either side? Also the only difference I see in my wiring is the white wire going from pot to pot is on a different lug of the volume pot. I wonder if I have to move that?
