determining neck profile

Post by 89skyhawk »

Hello, I have a 2005 Legacy, maple finger board, reverse headstock. I am currently selling it and the buy wants to know the neck profile. How can I be sure which one it is? According to GLguitar website there are many options. http://www.glguitars.com/instruments/US ... guitar.asp. here is the front of the guitar, Image and the backside Image

Are you referring to the fretboard radius or the back of the neck? The radius is likely 12", and the back profile can be all over the place for that age.

i got a call back from G&L, they said "legacy's come with a #1 neck unless there is a special order on the neck profile". According to the G&L neck profiles page, that should be 12" radius (like you said), and 1" 5/8" at the nut, 0.830 first fret depth, 0.960 12th fret depth.
