New guy with a wierd idea

Post by seteef »

Hi There,

My name is Steve Pile, and I'm logging in here to ask about a weird G&L mod I'm considering.

I play a beautiful black Legacy with cream pickguard and pickups.
I guess I'll go try and find the right subforum to address this.

Cheers,
Steve

Steve was looking for advice on fitting an ASAT bridge pickup and boxed-steel bridge. So, I'm assuming he was referring to pickup from an ASAT classic. His reasoning was he didn't care for the bridge pickup on the Legacy. Seems like a lot work and irreversible mod. I'd look for an ASAT Classic S or an alnico classic S instead...

He did post his question in the G&L Tech Questions & Tips sub-forum of the Knowledgebase forum:
putting an ASAT bridge on a Legacy?.
Please post replies to that post.
