Custom Orders for under $2k - How Cool is That?

Post by mojokorn »

I just placed a custom ordered G&L and it cost well under $2k This got me thinking... custom orders from the Fender Custom Shop cost at least $2.5 - regular stuff not the aged/NOS stuff.

One reason of many that G&L rocks!!!

I agree. I ordered a Legacy last March in the price range you're talking about, and am totally satisfied with it. Great guitar, great price, great value.

Yep, no need to settle for what hanging on the wall. You can order what you want and if you are not going crazy with the options it probably isn't much more than what's hanging on the wall. This is one of the reasons I'm a fan of G&L. I see Fender is starting to do the same thing with there "Mod Shop" - but they limit it just a smaller set of their instruments (no jazzmasters, mustangs, jaguars...). Overall G&L is offering more options for you customize your guitar to your personal preferences!

The USA finish options available. Keep in mind with standard are no up charge. Premium is an upcharge on Alder, but no upcharge on Ash bodies. So many colors it is hard to choose!

Happy spec'ng!

ASAT Z-3, OLS Ash body with front and rear contours, whiskey finish, cream pickguard, black pu covers, saddlelock brigge, rosewood fingerboard... So may decisions!
