Hi Y'all, you may remember me. I'm new as of December; I purchased an ASAT with a 3 bolt neck (here in intros: http://www.guitarsbyleo.com/FORUM/viewt ... 47&t=13997). I finally changed the strings today. So far I have been *loving* the single coil pickup tones of the guitar, loving the versatility compared to my Jackson. I restrung it when I brought it home, without realized I had a custom aftermarket configuration on my hands. I promised to post pics when I finally got a chance, and well, I restrung it tonight so I pulled off the pickguard and wiring cover today. I haven't drawn a schematic but I can help if the pictures don't tell the whole story. I believe the push/pull is the only special thing and it looks as if the orange is the "push" wire and is wired to the bridge position, and the "pull" is yellow and wired to the sixth position/fourth pole on the switch.
Thanks so much for looking! You can find my album here: http://imgur.com/a/wY8ZL
edit: in hindsight I find it hilarious how custom this pick guard is... I was looking for a replacement (not a fan of white, figured it'd be cheap way to personalize it) and the closest thing is the ASAT S configuration but it has a bridge cutout therefore the pickguard shape stops in the middle of the bridge pickup, whereas this one extends beyond it almost to the stock bridge. I could upgrade the bridge as well perhaps? But why?

Thanks! That's Avery. She's my little helper!
Soon, very soon, she'll be my little drummer.
