SC-2 Gig Bag

Post by mojokorn »

I see a thread on the forum that talks about the G&L SC-2 Gig Bag, but it looks like the G&L store does not carry them anymore. Does anyone know another Gig Bag that fits the SC-2 (not oversized, but fits properly)? Lot of padding is an extra as I plan to take it with me when traveling.

Thanks!

Looks like the Gator 4G Series gig bag would work well. Does anyone have experience with this one, or others.

Thanks!

i have used gator cases and gig bags, Levy's, and carvin. all good quality.
the levy's and gator were the best/most supportive gig bags.
depends how much u want to spend, too. there are gig bags for over $200.
I usually shop the $40-50 range for bags.
G&L's are a little longer than strats and teles but gig bags usually accomodate this length.
Some aftermarket hardshell and firm hybrid cases are too short for G&L's but just right for Fenders.
