Does anybody happen to know what a fair asking price would be for my 2012 SC-2?
Thanks

See this post in our G&L Knowledgebase:Is there a good source for getting G&L instrument values?.
Hope this helps.

Probably $200 less than it should be with the pickguard. Personal touches like that destroy value.

Re: Value of a 2012 SC-2?
My experience with used SC-2 reissues is that they go for $$650-$700 without a hard shell case and around $750 with a hard shell case. Since yours has some upgrades (ebony neck, no top dots, painted headstock, nice color), you might ask a little more. But, as someone has already mentioned, the pickguard really detracts from the value. So, IMHO, I would value it at about $750.

I love the blueburst color and the ebony board. For me, it would look a lot better without the pickguard and with black pickup covers. I think that is the only SC-2 reissue I have seen with an ebony board. Very nice!

Now that there are holes I would go with a clear pickguard.
