I have met two guitar players who play lefty and string the guitar right handed such as this. I used to sell one of them BC Rich Warlocks for this purpose. It is, however, disturbing to watch. Both of these guys were very good players and could wail on a guitar strung upside-down. They both said it was due to the fact that left handed guitars were so hard to find when they were young and began playing. They learned with right handed guitars and just got used to it and never thought it was a big deal.

I can tell you, this story is the same with many left handed players. I can also tell you, it's the Devil's work. Mesmerizing to watch them play some of the more difficult (for me) solos like Zeppelin, Skynyrd, Clapton and the like with an upside-down guitar!! If you closed your eyes you would never be able to tell. String bending, hammer on's and off's, every technique you can imagine. My brain hurts just thinking about it now.
