Happy Friday to all and a Happy New Guitar Day for me
From our own marketplace I now have a beeeeyyuutiful G&L 20th Anniversary model. Greg has a handful of G&L guitars that will make any player happy. (He's a great guy to work with on guitars as well)
Fortunately the 20th Anniversary was still available, as I have been looking at the Super and the Buffalo Brothers HB as well, but this could be is as good as it gets. Love the look of this baby. Have not had a chance to play much but like what I've heard so far, will give a full report in a few days. Could be a LOUD weekend!!
A plug for the bi-cut neck: here's a gorgeous BEM neck, 16 years old and no warping. Remember what happened when G&L changed the truss rod especially when it came down to BEM necks?
Just to clarify. It is I ' Greg ' who sold Sam the 20th Anniversary ASAT. User Profile ' G.. ' ... Marketplace Ad ' Thinning the Herd '. Also, Sam is correct the I have a handful of other excellent examples of classic G&Ls for sale. When I met Sam I picked up the '87 S500 from Guitar Center. The guys did a great setup and she is playing and sounding beautifully. Sorry for the poor job of linking the pictures in the ad. Please don't hesitate to click on the Slick Pic link and check out all my guitars for sale ( Victoria 512 for sale, too ).
