I dunno guys, that blue looks kind of retro. I am thinking with antique white pickguard, p/u covers and controls it would look like a 50 year old immediately. I'm going Sonic! Of course, my usual caveats apply - I like them both!

I like 'em both! I already have a Sonic Blue S-500, so make mine surf green.

I have a really hard time distinguishing the two colors in photos. I would have guessed that the first photo was the surf green legacy and the second photo was the sonic blue one...

I don't know why, but certain body styles I like different colors. With this Legacy, I really dig the sonic blue. But a SC-2 in Surf Green would be a dream combination.

As a public service, I figured I should re-state here a comment I just made on another thread - I'm the happy new owner of a Surf Green Fallout that went to Upfront Guitars, and the photos here do not do this finish justice. Art's right - in these pics, the Sonic Blue and the Surf Green look an awful lot alike. This is no fault of the G&L folks - not surprising that workbench photos can't always be perfect. In real life, though, the Surf Green is not only drop-dead gorgeous, but definitely surf green, and definitely not Sonic Blue (I have a regular non-nitro Legacy in Sonic Blue, so I know). It's really not the pale blueish color it shows up as in these pictures. If you want to see what it actually looks like - check out the photos on Upfront's website. Much more accurate.

It is a beautiful guitar!
