Has anyone had this issue and resolved it? I have a 1995 ASAT with the stripped truss rod nut...

Kinda I bought a 1994 Legacy neck off eBay a few years ago that had this issue. I didn't fix it - just played it as is. I ended up selling it a while later to a guitar tech who fixed it pretty easily. I'm not exactly sure what he did tho I think its a fairly easy thing to remedy.

Is it stripped on top at the allen slot? If so, you might try this tool: Gripper Truss Rod Wrenches.Backcountry wrote:Has anyone had this issue and resolved it? I have a 1995 ASAT with the stripped truss rod nut...
Or is it bottomed out on the rod threads? if so, you might add some washers on the threaded rod end.
Contact Ben Rush (G&L Repairs/Tech Support) to see if he can get you a replacement Truss Rod nut or if he has some additional ideas to help. His contact information is on the G&L Support page.
Please follow up with your resolution.
Hope this helps.
