The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

From G&L's Facebook page - pickguards ...

Post by Craig »

Needed to get a head start on milling pickguards for the coming week.

In case you have not guessed, G&L is making their own pickguards.

At this point, they make them strictly for production. They have no plans to make them available via the G&L On-line Store.
Should that change, I will post a followup.

As a follow up to this thread, see this post: New source for replacement pickguards for USA instruments.

There is a product listed in the online store, where it appears you can custom order a pickguard. I have not tried it, though:

Also, there a bunch of pickguards for sale as clearance items on the online store, most of them for $10-$20:

Yes, I had posted about the new clearance listings last month, see: Clearance Categories in G&L On-Line Store.

Hope this helps.

I've been searching for an answer to the following and haven't hit upon it yet. My apologies if it's been covered a million times before...

Is there that significant a difference between USA pickguards and Tributes? Say, for a 2015 Legacy for example? I'd take any color at this point because my current pickguard is demolished an untraceable, and therefore difficult to have made by someone else.

See my reply to your first post, which I relocated to a separate thread: Need replacement pickguard for Tribute Legacy Flametop.

Hope this helps.
