Could be. Gold hardware was commonly used on NAMM guitars although it was an available option until about 2005. Here's a lunch report on the 2001 Winter NAMM ASAT Z-3 SH. It's the same guitar as referenced in thunder 100's post in the thread mentioned by geoff above.

Gold hardware was a Dealer Price List option from 2001 to mid-2006.
Here's four of my gold hardware guitars:
.Z3 Semi-Hollow without F-hole with gold hardware.
25th Anniversary with gold hardware. (One-off)
ASAT Classic Bluesboy Semi-Hollow without F-hole with gold hardware. (One-off)
All mahogany ASAT Special Semi-Hollow with F-hole and gold hardware
